Yes, the Hills Rotary 8 clothesline comes with a ground socket, this is what is cemented into the ground at the time of installation. The post of the clothesline simply slots into this socket and locks. Unlock to remove. A cap is provided to place over the socket when the clothesline is removed.

Yes, there is a cover suitable for the Rotary 8 clothesline which has a diameter of 4m to suit this model. There is an image of the cover on this page and to order with your clothesline, just select the Clothesline Cover option. Storage covers are also available for when the clothesline is folded up.
